At U.N.A Clinic our massage therapists are hand-picked, and personally screened and are only allowed to visit clients once they have met or exceeded our standards. Every therapist on our books is fully licensed as an in-home massage professional, and they will travel to your home anywhere in Kent, anywhere in North, South, East & West London

How often should I get a massage?

An individual plan of care will be discussed with your therapist to determine the frequency of massage maintenance. Periods are usually 2-4 weeks.

When should I not get a massage?

In my opinion there are few conditions which would prevent you from having massage. You should not book a massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, or contagious skin infection.

There are many other conditions in which your therapist may need to adapt his/her techniques (i.e. arthritis or osteoporosis) or avoid an area completely (i.e. cuts or burns). With some conditions it is a good idea to get an approval from your physician before you receive massage (cancer, certain heart conditions, pregnancy). This doesn’t mean you can’t get massage. As we specialise in Medical Massage treatment, but it's always better to err on the side of caution we can advise you about your specific needs.

Will I need to follow any special instructions following my massage?

Yes. Massage therapy performed at RTP Medical Massage helps loosen muscles by releasing toxins that are stored in them. These toxins need to be flushed out of your system in the hours following your massage, so it is recommended that you drink plenty of water once you complete your treatment.
